These entries from Llewellyn’s diary are especially interesting and touching to me. The Grace she visits in Roseland is my grandmother, and Ralph is my father, who was living in Detroit at the time and came home to visit his mother, who was very sick. She died on May 10, 1923. They were obviously very close to Jennie’s family.
